Zelestra completes the sale of its Latin America Business Unit to Promigas for $1.1B Enterprise Value

Zelestra delivers 162 MW Belinchón solar cluster in Spain ahead of schedule, powering pharma decarbonisation
Belinchón I, II and III have a total 162 MW of solar capacity. Delivered in under 14 months by Zelestra’s in-house EPC team, supporting 400 jobs. Supported by a multi-buyer PPA, helping to address scope 2 and 3 decarbonisation in the pharmaceutical sector.

The Villamañán project (19 MWdc) is the third solar plant in Spain to be delivered as part of a clean energy partnership with Graphic Packaging International, supported by a long-term vPPA. Together with the José Cabrera project (50 MWdc) and Socovos II (33 MWdc), over 100 MWdc of new clean energy has been delivered in Spain as part of the partnership. Delivered by Zelestra’s internal EPC division, Villamañán will generate 28,700 MWh of clean energy a year, avoiding over 4,900 tons of CO₂.
The green financing package has been agreed with Natixis Corporate and Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) and BBVA Perú. Babilonia is part of the La Joya complex in Arequipa, Perú, which will have a total capacity of nearly 700 MW.
