Zelestra in Germany is growing rapidly. As one of our key global markets, we are advancing a pipeline of more than 2 GW, with ambitions to scale it to 5 GW by the end of 2026.
With offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Rostock, and a team of more than 70 people, we are utilizing solar, battery storage, wind and green hydrogen to design solutions for our clients. We are deeply committed to serving our customers in Germany and supporting each of them in achieving their respective decarbonization goals.
Our purpose perfectly aligns with Germany’s ambitious aim to reduce emissions by 65% by 2030 and ultimately become carbon neutral by 2045.

Long leadership career in the EPC and O&M area at ib vogt. From engineering, site & project management, PMO lead to director and overall business unit level. At peak times managing over 300 people and 1.8 GWp under construction globally. After serving as COO of Zelestra Germany, Mathias succeeded Robert Hienz as CEO in early 2026.

Jan-Christoph KlotzChief Commercial Officer Germany
Energy-infrastructure investor and executive with deep expertise in renewable energy. Previously led Commerz Real’s renewable-infrastructure platform as Head of Green Deal Infrastructure—overseeing transactions, developer partnerships and asset management, including work on the klimaVest impact fund. Earlier roles include M&A and investment positions at RWE/innogy, AREAM, William Blair and Commerzbank.
Maurice RadwanChief Development Officer Germany
Extensive finance career spanning corporate finance, portfolio management and strategy in the energy and mobility sectors. Previously CFO at Dott and NexWafe, with earlier senior roles at The AES Corporation and as Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Bruno joined Zelestra as VP Portfolio Management before being appointed CFO Germany.

Extensive experience in construction management within renewable energy, having delivered large-scale solar projects worldwide from planning through commissioning and operations. Focused on safe, high-quality and efficient construction processes, on-time delivery and cost control.
Michael ReinholdHead of Construction & Interim COO Germany
Extensive career in People Area, including HR Operational excellence, Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Market Entries, Labour compliance and Compensation & Benefits. During her longstanding employment in ib vogt, she built and worked with diverse teams in Europe and overseas. Her major contributions lay in the renewable energies sector.

Seasoned lawyer with a longstanding experience in M&A and Infrastructure Transaction Management. Jens held several leadership roles, including Head of Legal M&A of RWE AG, Senior Project Manager M&A of RWE AG, innogy SE and E.ON SE and Head of Infrastructure Transactions of Commerz Real AG.
