Zero accidents is a commitment we take seriously

Last week, 30+ companies and nearly 100 professionals gathered in Seville for Zelestra's Contractor Safety Day united by one goal: zero accidents. This year's theme, "From Alliance to Shared Intelligence," says it all. Human commitment meets AI-driven insight. Reactive becomes proactive. Shared responsibility becomes shared intelligence. Thank you to John Paul Larraneta Chief Operation Officer, Fernando Madero Romero QHSE&S Global Head, Laura Rodríguez González HSE Manager, Ana Guillen Muñoz QHSE Operational Excellence and every professional who was in that room. This is what progress looks like.

Last week, Zelestra brought together more than 31 companies and nearly 100 professionals in Seville for the third edition of our Contractor Safety Day. A room full of leaders in the fields of Safety, Construction, and O&M, coming together to share, analyse and focus on the future.

The theme: "From Alliance to Shared Intelligence."

Here is what that means in practice.

When you combine human commitment with AI-driven pattern recognition and trend analysis, you stop managing risk reactively. You start anticipating it. That shift from response to prediction is where real protection happens.

The conversations in that room covered safety leadership, cross-company collaboration, and the data tools that are changing how we keep people safe on site. Not as separate topics. As one connected system.

Because that is the point. Zero accidents does not happen in isolation. It happens when contractors, leaders, and teams treat safety as a shared intelligence not just a shared responsibility.

To every professional who joined us: this is what progress looks like.

Fernando Madero Romero QHSE&S Global Head:

"Commitment and collaboration across all companies is a fundamental pillar in achieving the highest safety standards. Data-driven approaches and the integration of artificial intelligence across every step of the value chain are helping us strengthen our safety systems and get closer to that difficult but achievable goal: zero accidents."

Laura Rodríguez González HSE Manager:

"We continue working alongside our contractors, strengthening our commitment and welcoming artificial intelligence as a new ally. New methods, same goal safety at the heart of everything we do."

Ana Guillen Muñoz QHSE Operational Excellence:

"This is our third edition with the same goal and each time with stronger commitments: that contractors and Zelestra share not just projects, but a safe way of working."
