Zelestra expands US partnership with Meta through 180 MWdc Palmera solar PPA in Texas
More momentum with Meta in the US. Zelestra and Meta have expanded our partnership with a new long-term PPA for the 180 MWdc Palmera Solar Plant in Freestone County, Texas. This builds on construction now underway at Skull Creek in Texas and Reclamation in Indiana, alongside Jasper County in Indiana, which recently reached full commercial operation.

Zelestra secures $600 million green financing for 440 MW Texas solar portfolio backed by Meta PPAs
The $600 million project financing credit facility secured with Societe Generale and HSBC will support the delivery of Echols Grove (252 MW) and Cedar Range (187 MW) solar projects in Texas. Both projects are backed by long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Meta.

Together with the José Cabrera project (50 MWdc) and Socovos II (33 MWdc), over 100 MWdc of new clean energy has been delivered in Spain as part of the partnership. Delivered by Zelestra’s internal EPC division, Villamañán will generate 28,700 MWh of clean energy a year, avoiding over 4,900 tons of CO₂.
